Hello and welcome. We are professional full time chimney sweeps based in Brightwell which is midway between Ipswich and Woodbridge. Historically we have serviced homes in the Ipswich, Suffolk area. Our very close proximity to the junction of the A12/A14 has meant that we have also been able to service Manningtree, Hadleigh and Stowmarket areas of Suffolk and Essex.

Apart from the obvious 'sweeping' of your chimney we also supply (and fit!) chimney pots, bird guards and cowls as well as remove blockages. We have full CCTV facilities to observe any part of your flue for blockages and/or damage which we are able to remove/repair.

Countryman Chimney Services supplies a comprehensive range of pots, antidowndraught cowls and bird guards, including fitting. Sourced from the UK, these products are designed for safety and efficiency and can stop birds, squirrels, leaves and other debris. We can advise on these products all of which are available upon request.

We are FULL TIME PROFESSIONAL CHIMNEY SWEEPS. We don't want to be alarmist but there are a number of people out there who have simply bought some equipment from the local DIY superstore and claim to be able to do it (chimney sweeping). Sadly we have stories of very costly errors committed on their part. Please be very careful in your selection process.

We take great care in making your chimney both clean and safe, both for your enjoyment and peace of mind for insurance purposes. We have public liability insurance for £2,000,000 and do not charge VAT.
